Protea Hotel Prokard Scheme benefits are not as they are advertised. A real waste of money.

The Protea Hotels Prokard Scheme has turned into hogwash with no hotels being available when using the vouchers. The Scheme promises that Prokard members will get preferences to reservations but this is not the case. Most hotels are not available. It is clear that this Scheme comes with few benefits and the purported benefits are very few and far in between. It would be advisable to discontinue being a member of the Scheme and look for other options that do have such underhand strategies.
