Protea Hotel Bloemfontein

My wife and I travelled from JHB to CPT last weekend and had to overnight in Bloemfontein. I booked us a room (including breakfast) We arrived on Friday night 29/11/2024 at 9:30 PM to check in. What followed next was utterly disgusting and unproffesional on behalf of the front staff. When I went to desk to check in a group of men was infront of me to check in and the one gentleman walked in with a glass of beer and stood there to check in.

This is supposed to be a family friendly hotel , yet the staff said nothing to the gentleman. We were so disgusted that we did not even bother to go for breakfast we paid for. We just packed up the Saturday morning and left. Also the toilet in the room barely flushed.

Very dissapointed as this is supposed to be a 4 star hotel
