Prokard fail!
I am so fed up on trying to use my Prokard with Protea Hotels. Every time I try to use one of my vouchers it doesn't work - but there are rooms available if I browse from another device. What gives??? Why buy a Prokard if I can NEVER use it??? There voucher sharing services are also totally useless! I have contacted support and they take really long to assist. One of the Prokard Explorer Consultant, Megan, really tried her best to assist me but I think the system makes it almost impossible. I will not be renewing my Prokard until they can better their system. It is a total waste of money!

Thanks for sharing your experience. We do understand the frustration of not being able to redeem vouchers. The unfortunate situation is that popular cities like Cape Town or Durban, have no availability this time of the year. Given that for a long time people could not travel, they are making up for lost time, so the festive period is fully booked. If you are looking at rates from another device and there is availability, then it standard rates that are available.
