<p>after booking a 3 day couples retreat with protea stellenbosh I arrived to be booked in a handicap facility room which my booking sheet dud not request. waited almost 2 hrs for another room browsing around there garden.they informed me they can assist me with a room for the night only and have another room for the next day. coming this far I agreed as I know this is inconvenient regarding packing and also relaxing. without prio notice reception calls me at 7:15am the nxt morning to say I need to get my stuff and bring it to reception the other room is ready I told the girl I will after breakfast which we went for at 9:00.arriving at reception I went to collect key as instructed I was told room not ready they couldn't give me a time. I browsed outside for half and hour and really ****ed off.they said the room I should get is only vacant after 11 as those guest are still checking out. ****ed off and angry they just said sorry and returned my previous room key as I was tired and needed to freshen up . arriving at the same room to freshen up house keepers already stripped room and as we in the room housekeeping and maintenance guys let themselves in as they were not notified that the guests were returning. I stormed to reception wanting to cancel my stay obviously as this must be a joke.they promised a room will be available and ready in 20min.i left and came back at 12:35 got a room eventually. my consolation was a jar of nuts and 50% off 1 of my evenings we spent half our stay in there gardens rather then the purpose we came for relaxing I didn't even bother unpacking things the last room as we only had a evening left. was really disappointed in there level of customer service and prioritising guest comfortability as they thrive with there 5star accommodation service I think it was ridiculous. not even management was seen or accommodating to me.</p>
