Horrible , slow service
We went to protea hotel in Hilton, Pietermaritzburg. I am not impressed. We arranged for an early check in, yet when we got there our room was not ready. We had to wait for a while for it to be ready which was an inconvenience. We then got to the room and the room wasn't as clean as expected, especially the bathroom. When we tried to connect the hard drive to the tv , it wouldn't connect and they helped us quickly. The next day we went down for breakfast(buffet)... it was hard to find a table. When we eventually did, we stood up to dish up and they placed other people on our table , causing an awkward situation. Then we got to the room and house cleaning had been there, and now the tv wasn't working again. We called maintenance and the guy didn't know what to do. He then said someone else was coming who kept us waiting for what felt like hours. We also called reception and asked for a vase, they said they would bring it and then it never came. I'm probably the least impressed person in the region now.
