Fire & ice Umhlanga smokers not wanted

Hi There,

I would like to make a complaint regarding the Protea fire & ice Hotel in Umhlanga durban, South Africa.

I was informed I must sit in the dark by myself if I wanted to smoke a cigar and would need to collect the drink from the bar and service myself. The other guest who were not smoking were sitting in a well lit area which was serviced by waitors.

Just curious if this is the usual service I can expect to recieved from a marriot hotel.

The location of the table was pitch black, there was so little light I could not even see the table.

The area I was expected to sit was not only unpleasant due to being dark. It was also bordering a street, sitting in a dark unlite area in South africa is extremely dangerous.

I raised my concerns to your manager Zama, she felt it was OK for me to sit in the dark and collect my own drink from the bar.
