Disappointment

We made a reservation and paid on 30 Oct 2015 for two nights, we chose this hotel so that I could walk to the promenade while my husband was cycling the Argus Cycle tour and I could see him cross the finish line. We confirmed our reservation on 2nd March 2016 we left Port Elizabeth on Sat morning at 02h00 am and then afterwards sat for 1hr 30 mins in traffic to Sea Point to get to the protea hotel googling on my iPhone as we don't know the area, getting there to reservations we are told that the hotel is overbooked and they have done a \walk over\" and now we have to go to Fire And Ice Protea Hotel in Tamboerskloof. So back we went very tired and confused. So when we enquired why we were sent to another hotel at Fire and Ice reception said they don't know. Well I could not watch my husband race on that Sunday as there was no shuttle service. It was such a big disappointment for us, we didn't know where to eat as I googled for the Sea Point area and was really upset.
