Avoid Protea Hotel Clarens. Bad service.

I have been a member of prokard for a good ten years and one of my favorite times have been spent at Protea hotel in Clarens . Sad to say that I had an outmost appalling experience during my stay in this 30th December 2020. The food, the rooms, the service was absolutely appalling.

Was given a room small in size that I’d never received before when I requested to be moved was told lies that all rooms are exactly the same size by the on duty night receptionist but that was not the first time checking in.

The service in appalling when comparing to other protea hotels around the country.

My advice based on my experience is don’t check in at the Protea hotel in Clarens, this is my last time checking in and will tell all my business contacts and companies that I work with that regularly use the hotel to avoid the protea hotel in Clarens and won’t ever approve any employee of my company to be checked in that particular hotel.
