APPALLING SERVICE, DO NOT USE THIS PROTEA BRANCH

I stayed at Protea Hotel in Centurion from the 8-20th March 2020. Whilst staying at the hotel, on the 11th on a Wednesday before leaving for training in the morning, I left a t-shirt with a completed laundry slip inside the laundry bag in my room in order for the hotel staff to forward the item to the laundry staff to wash and iron the t-shirt, when I had come back to the room that afternoon, I was happy to find that indeed the laundry had been removed from the room. Thursday the 12th when I came back to my room I noticed that the t-shirt had not yet been returned but I told myself that maybe it had been too soon to expect for it to have already been washed and ironed although I had to leave the following day which was a Friday. On Friday the 13th I left the hotel with no feedback on my t-shirt but told reception that since I was coming back again on that Sunday which was the 15th, I would then expect to find that t-shirt. Sunday on my return to check in, nobody had heard about nor seen my t-shirt. Every single day from the 15th to the 20th when I left the hotel, I went to reception to enquire, they would call their laundry department and staff to find out if they knew anything about my t-shirt and nobody could give any information. The manager not once came to me to assist or intervene in this matter till I left that day on the 20th and a few days thereafter filled a customer satisfaction form. I was only rep**** to by email on the 23rd of March by their guest relations officer who requested my contacts and to this day she never called me. I am appalled by Protea Hotel considering the amount of money paid by my employer to stay there for over 10+ nights
