Be prepared to pay R4,000 for 1 night and have NO HOT WATER! Our geyser was broken, and we weren't even offered another room to freshen up in. The hotel wasn't fully booked either. They sent maintenance to our room at 20h30 to fix the geyser, which took 2 hours, and then we still didn't have hot water at midnight. I dont understand why they didn't move us to another room with a WORKING geyser??!! The customer service from The Marriot Group was also not very helpful when we sent our complaint. They act as though it was not their problem as we still slept in the room that night. Very unprofessional! We asked for a refund for such poor services, and they said that we could only have R700 regund of our R4,000 we paid because our stay wasn't without "value." They didn't even offer another nights stay to make up for it.
