ENDING FIXED TERM CONTRACT

On 14 January 14 I send a written notice of cancellation of ending my fixed term contract with Figure Fanatics gym due to financial difficulties and work related matters. Marize [Email Removed] to received this notice only in March 14 and refused to accept it. Her attitude was that I either had to pay the contract till end September 14 or find someone to take over for the last 6 months. I struggled for another 3 months to look for someone to take over my gym contract however while looking for someone she handed me over to debt collectors. I then phone the consumer board to find out if I can end a fixed term contract. The consumer board send me the act to show that a person can end a fixed term contract. After that the debt collector informed me I have to still pay for Jan 14 - Mar 14 plus costs.<br> I paid R1000 so far. I am trying to negotiate to settle as the R1000 covers the 3 months gym fee. But with no success. I am not in a position to pay any further and I did not cause this problem their client Figure Fanatics Gym, Marize Fourie, refused to accept my written notice and that caused the dilemma. Can you please negotiate on my behalf to settle this.<br>
