Unsafe & Uninterested

BEWARE OF *******!!!!

I recently had the displeasure of staying at the La Rhone apartment, “managed” by Propr. Unfortunately, it resulted in us needing to leave Cape Town a day early, and we incurred unforeseen costs trying to leave the apartment .

The apartment is beautiful, however, the building is unsafe. I discovered today that two of my jewellery pieces had been ******, from the apartment, in the bedroom I was staying in.

Apart from mourning the loss of my jewellery, I was also left feeling violated and horrified that some unknown individual had entered the property without my knowledge and rifled through my things.

The building itself is not managed by Propr, people are coming and going and there is no security whatsoever.

When I phoned Propr for some support, they offered me absolutely nothing, no responsibility or initiative on their part. They claim that nobody on their payroll came to the building while we were there. That’s fine - but what about the other people who came and went? Why were we not warned about the potential safety issues in the building? Why did nobody from Propr come out to help us?

I was completely dismissed by their call centre agents, and was essentially left to find my own way. They actually expected us to sleep in the apartment. They were completely useless and disrespectful.
