Property.co.za ***** and waste of time!

Our house has been on the market for approx 1 year. Agents from all over contacted us to market our house. We accepted because we didn't want a sole mandate. As they all do, they promise that they'll sell our house. Noluvo (sp) from Property.co.za was no different. She however...brought in a potential buyer. This buyer walked in, looked at the house (seemingly unimpressed) and put in an offer and immediately completed and signed "her portion" of the documents. The buyer is an FNB employee and received 100% bond approval before putting in the offer. After much research, I realize that a pre-approval is never a guarantee. During the next 2 months, we spoke with the agent a minimum of once per week to ensure that everything was still on track and that there were no problems. Something in my gut was turning because this was all taking way too long. Then, 2 months after the paper work was signed, the agent informed us that the buyer was declined at 3 different banks. Initially, we were informed that she "would go with FNB" because she was an employee. I then requested proof that the buyer was pre-approved 100% by FNB to which I was told "I don't have that information, I just went on the buyers word"...I means...! Then I asked for proof that she was declined a bond at all 3 banks and then I was told that I'm wasting everybody's time and that I should just move on. I will move on once I have proof that she was in fact declined and that she wasn't just pulling out of the deal. I then approached the attorneys who were assisting with the sale and transfer of the house. They said that they would inquire with the agent for me...well, I'm still waiting. We have wasted 2 months and turned away many many viewings.

We've been duped! Stay far far far away from Property.co.za, Novulo (sp) in particular and also...SB Attorney's only have THEIR client's been interest at heart, not all parties concerned.
