PropertyCoza Homefront has kept our deposit for 14 months after tenants have moved out. Countless emails and calls result in vague answers and empty promises. ********* conduct.

15 Nov 2021, 10:01Good day Jacqueline,
We have supp**** you with proof that the matter is at the Housing Tribunal. Due to the fact that both parties, landlord and renter, is at fault in this case, it is only the Housing Tribunal that can make a decision on what should happen with the deposit. Legally Property.CoZa Homefront cannot release any money until the Housing Tribunal has made ruling, and we cannot force them to make a ruling faster.
The impact of the pandemic has caused many delays at various institutions. We hope and trust that the Tribunal will resolve this matter as soon as possible.
Regards

15 Nov 2021, 10:08The "proof" is incorrect as per the Rental Housing Tribunal. There is also no case as per the Rental Housing Tribunal. If there is a case, where is the reference number? Please provide the reference number for the case you claim is pending resolution at the Rental Housing Tribunal. On the 29th of October 2020 we were advised of the pending case. On the 4th of February 2021 we were advised of the pending case. It does not take 6 months to get a reference number if a case does indeed exist.
