****ming you into securing a bond and then trying to sell a different property

My Wife and I are 1st time buyers - we found a property listed in Ruyterwacht and got in contact with a lady called Madelaine. She never met with us, she always just said we can go to the property and the tenants will let us in. Communication was very poor from her side but we really liked the property and she assured us things are going smoothly. I then got a call from Annemarie the bond originator to get me the best deal, to her credit she tried and secured us a bond with Nedbank. 3 weeks have no passed. We were then busy with lawyers and the transfer - only to receive a voice note from Madelaine to say the owner accepted a offer before ours. Knowing this - Propertycoza failed to inform us of this and still proceeded to tell us to secure the bond. Shannon from Propertycoza then sends a email advising of the same. Nothing on their side to assist with cancellation of anything, they just left everything up to us to cancel with lawyers, bank etc. I am not sure if we will be liable for any fees etc. that too is not being disclosed. I would not recommend Propertycoza to my worst enemy. They are very unprofessional and treats the sale and purchase of properties to that of someone buying from a ****a shop. This matter will be escalated to the Property Practitioners Regulatory Authority and should there be no satisfaction from them - we will seek legal advice to pursue this matter as the monies involved are large sums and Propertycoza could not be ****d.
