BREACH OF CONTRACT BY THE TENANT

I am not sure if property24 do a background check on the tenants their agents find on behalf of the landlords.I am currently having the tenant who breached a contract signed by the agent Johnny Whelpton.I signed a contract at the beginning of April 2015 and this month August(beginning of month) when I didn't get the rental payment we contacted Johnny and he broke the news that the tenant was leaving in the middle of August and only paid half of the rental,after many deliberations I got only half of the money.I recently contacted him to get the keys as I have requested that we part our ways but before that I will like him to repair any damage especially on the ceiling because he mentioned there was a stain of water from water dripping from the bathroom.I requested that he use the deposit money the tenant paid and then we part ways.But I am very disappointed with the way he conducts his business,which makes me wonder if he is registered with the Estate Agency Affairs Board.I WILL LIKE HIM TO FIX THE HOUSE IN THE STATE IT WAS IN WHEN THE TENANTS GOT IN.
