Heartless Treatment by Rental Agents and Landlord
My experience with these rental agents and landlords has been absolutely traumatic and heartbreaking. I would never recommend anyone to rent through them. They switched off my electricity on a Friday while I was disputing the electricity charges because the amounts being charged did not make sense. Instead of trying to resolve the issue professionally, they left me and my two infants without electricity for two full days. I had no proper way to care for my babies, prepare food properly, keep essentials running, or even feel safe and comfortable in my own home. It was one of the most stressful and emotionally draining experiences I have ever gone through. What made the situation even worse was that they completely ignored my calls and messages after cutting the power. I was left desperate, frustrated, and helpless, trying to get assistance while caring for two small children. They later claimed they had sent me a letter regarding the electricity, but I never received any such notice before they disconnected it. On top of that, in the middle of April, they suddenly told me to vacate the property before my lease agreement had properly ended and without giving me proper notice. I was given barely any time to arrange accommodation, move my belongings, and relocate my children. The stress and pressure they caused during that period was unbearable. Despite the condition of the property not being good when I moved in, they still expected perfection from me when leaving. They demanded cleaning and additional payments even though they forced me out with almost no reasonable notice. It felt incredibly unfair and heartless considering the circumstances they placed me and my children under. The entire experience has been traumatic, financially stressful, and emotionally exhausting. I genuinely feel that they care more about money than treating tenants with basic humanity and respect. No family, especially one with small children, should ever have to go through what we experienced.
