Properties by Lorraine (acting as an agent renting a house out for friends)

Lorraine advertised a property owned by Vernon Ke****y in 2013 ,we signed up after viewing the house through her.She arranged all info needed: contract, paying deposit into landlord Vernon Ke****y acc.etc. She failed to tell us she acted as an agent for them and that they had an friendship agreement (she only told us this much later),so our deposit of R25 000 never got put into an interest bearing acc. As per our contract and how it should be by law. She failed to do an incoming inspection with us and that resulted in them not being able to do an outgoing inspection. They never had a INSPECTION attached to the contract and send us very disturbing messages regarding that when we gave notice 6 years later. Lorraine only told us months later that she did her friends a favor so when we gave 54 days notice as our contract had a cancellation clause that if any party for any reason cancel the contract need to pay R750 ,we got a message from the agent that she had nothing to do with the property for 6 years. We are very upset as is appears to be like a ****. They act as if it's all done through Lorraine properties but could not give any proof of a print out that our deposit was put into an interest bearing acc. We asked the landlord over 5 times for proof and the lawyer eventually told the landlord that it's clear that they have not got our deposit. Lorraine also came to look at the property for new tenants but yet again the landlord claimed we denied access we have put on record with our lawyer all this agents messages and emails and they now wanted to keep all our money that we had to be refunded as rent cause they cannot find tenants.The agent Lorraine cancelled her viewing appointments with us and yet again we got treated so bad after 6 years of adding lights,painting the home,fixing the garden ,laying 14000 of cost price wooden floors etc etc.The landlord also said we must replace the stove but it is in the contract for his bill,he claims the stove was new and in a meeting with him and his wife he told us it should have been for his account. We took it out as he did not want to purchase it from us.We asked Lorraine to explain to them how a contract by law works but for some reason it's been handled so unprofessional and *******. We have handed her over to the Estate agency board and handed our lawyer all relevant info regarding the landlord. Please just be aware of people making out they use an agent like Lorraine but behind ur back the have a friendship agreement and they do not handle good tenants with respect.The most shocking is that Lorraine told us the landlord would not get the money for his property.
