Poor service all-around by Proline Panelbeaters Wynberg, Sandton

Proline Panelbeaters in Wynberg Sandton is the pits!! If your insurance company decides to send your car to them for repairs, do not approve!! I got into an accident in 2022 and MiWay sent my car there to be fixed. No repairs were done for a while due to lockdown, when I finally went to collect my car, I realised that the rear left door had not been installed properly, the job done was so shody. I returned the car to them, and then again realised that the roof cover had not been properly installed, sent it back again due to the grease marks that were all over the insider roof cover and the sun shield. A few days later there was a knocking sound coming from the rear left wheel which had been damaged during the accident. I took the car in for a service due to an emergency trip I had to make. VW had a look at the wheel and indicated that there are damaged parts which were broken from the impact during the accident, which Proline did not repair. VW indicated that this was a high security risk and so they replaced the broken parts and even gave them back to me.

I approached Proline about this matter in 2022 and sent them the invoice from VW showing that they did not do their job of insuring that the car was properly fixed and that I shouldnt have incurred costs due to their negligence which clearly put a risk on my safety. For 2 years I have been sent from pillar to post, no feedback etc Today I get feedback from management saying, "sorry, there's nothing we can do to help you, you should have brought the car back in". That's it!! The fact that they even have the nerve to brush me off as a customer without any engagement, regarding their poor worksmanship and their lack of skill and care when fixing people's cars is shocking. Not to mention the arrogance with which they have handled this matter!! They will not engage me because I made a choice to have my car fixed by VW, was Proline going to pay for my expenses incurred to hire a vehicle to travel, which is an inconvenience they caused because they cant do their job!! If you know what's good for you and you care about your safety, do not agree to your car being sent to Proline Wynberg for repairs, you will regret it!!
