Laptop batteries

I bought two laptops in November 2022 for two homeschool kids. Starting 2024 the Lithium-ion batteries have swollen. My wife contacted local computer shop and was told that the batteries can only be taken out of the machine by an expert. It will take an hour . My wife took it out in 5 minutes. The problem is no retailer have this batteries only Proline. The retailer who insert and repair these laptops is Pinnacle. The price of the battery is R1545. I have to send the Laptops in for them to put in two batteries for more then R3000. This is ridiculous.
