My experience hasn’t been great at all .Its been a month and my car is still not fixed , it took 10 days for it to get to the correct assessor(who knows where it was ?) , no communication was sent in that time . Upon arriving a quote was sent for over 100k (including the additional further assessments done )a third of the purchase price of the car for hitting a tow bar whilst driving well under the speed limit at approximately 40km/ per hour. I have asked Phindi why existing undamaged parts of the car could not be reused and haven’t been given an answer that makes sense . I have asked for images to compare with the images submitted on the day of the accident and was told that can’t be provided . Received a notification today that the car is at the panel beaters , how was the quote done without comparing to the actual damage of the car from the panel beaters ? The grill was smashed but have been quoted for mirrors , side door handles and to replace the bonnet which is still in perfect condition not to mention all sorts of labour costs . The lack of transparency in the quote has been appalling.

My experience with Proline Auto Body has become extremely frustrating and unacceptable. My vehicle has been with Proline since 15 May 2026. Throughout this period I have been given various estimated completion dates, only for those dates to pass without my vehicle being handed over. On Monday I was informed that the vehicle was in the assembly stage and expected to be completed. I was also advised that the repair should be completed by mid-week. However, I am now being told that 24 June is no longer looking promising and once again no definite completion date can be provided. To make matters worse, my courtesy vehicle was returned today based on the expectation that my vehicle would be ready. I am now left without transport and must rely on taxis to travel to and from work. This is not only inconvenient but also raises safety concerns, especially when travelling in the dark. What concerns me most is the continued lack of a firm completion date. I understand that unforeseen delays can occur during repairs, but after more than a month, customers deserve honest communication and realistic timelines rather than repeated estimates that are not met. The ongoing delays, uncer*****y, stress and anxiety caused by this situation have become unacceptable. I am requesting that Proline management urgently intervene, provide a definite completion date, and ensure that customers are not left stranded due to repeated delays. I would appreciate a prompt resolution to this matter.

Deeply Frustrated – Poor Workmanship and No Accountability I am beyond frustrated with both Pineapple Insurance and Proline Autobody. This is now the second time I’ve had to reject my car because of the same issue — poor and uneven paintwork that clearly shows a lack of quality control. What’s even more upsetting is how much this has affected me financially and emotionally. I’ve spent months without proper use of my car, constantly arranging alternative transport and losing money in the process. Every time I think the issue is resolved, the car is returned with visible paint defects and unfinished areas — it honestly feels like no one cares about the customer’s frustration or inconvenience. I trusted Pineapple Insurance to appoint a reliable panel beater, but this experience has been nothing short of exhausting. It’s disappointing that after all the back-and-forth, the workmanship still doesn’t meet the most basic standard expected from an insurance-approved repairer. I hope both Pineapple and Proline Autobody take this seriously and understand the financial and emotional impact such negligence causes. Customers deserve better — honesty, accountability, and a job done right the first time. Truly disappointed and emotionally drained by this entire experience.
