Newly formed website/projects company a disaster!!
Projects in Space (PIS) agreed to build a website for me for R165,000. R50,000 was paid as a deposit in August 2015. The delivery date was meant to be within 120 days. ( November). This date got moved 4 times and as they wouldn't return my deposit to me, I was forced to agree to these delays. Ironically the delays were caused by the team building the new HelloPeter site in their day jobs at Mustard Marketing! It is 28 January and I still don't have a site as I had to agree to another delay and to expect delivery on 1 Feb. However, the site looks terrible, not like the professional website I was expecting. For instance I asked for a news page to look as professional as [URL Removed] and instead I am facing this: [URL Removed] The designer, Stan Kobrin, was introduced to me via a high school friend, Russel Luck who is a laywer at Swift Momentum. I thought Russel was independent and merely introducing two friends to eachother but it turns out Russel is part of PIS! Things got more complicated when I learned that Louis Friedman is the brainchild and owner of PIS and he apparently cautioned Russel & Stan that PIS was not geared up or ready to take on this work!
