Pro-Gifts online - you do not get what you pay for!

I ordered a bunch of flowers, paid R389 excl. delivery. It was a '"design your own bunch" made up of fresh in season flowers advertised on their website. One would think you were getting similar to the imagery only with a seasonal flower change here and there. I really wish I could attach imagery here just to show how badly it is misrepresented online. The image represents a beautiful bunch of flowers. What my mother in law received was 3 pink roses, a stick of leaves and and a stick of baby's breath, in a tiny little glass vase. There was no vase in the imagery, there was no request for a vase and no vase should have been delivered to the detriment of the flower value. My mother in law sent me a pic to say thank you and well I was horrified at what she received for what was paid. I logged a complaint and they took over a week to get back to me with anything. They then tried telling me that flower costs have gone up because of Corona and that farmers were not producing flowers due to supply and demand. I was told that the 3 pink roses my mother in law received were worth R389. ****************!! I rep**** saying funny how no one else I have used during Corona times have supp**** anything quite like that. I order flowers all the time, I know the costs and only used pro-gifts because they could meet the deadline. They had no interest in fixing it what so ever. So sad. In short pro-gifts misrepresents their product online, they are terrible value for money and they have zero customer resolution skills. My recommendation would be not to use them for flowers as you will not know what you are getting!
