Won't pay for MRI

<p>My sister went in for a sleep apnea test on 2016/09/27 to sleep in the hospital until 2016/09/28. The doctor did various tests and found something that made him want an MRI. The medical aid needed to still approve so she needed to stay in hospital for another night. This morning 2016/09/29 Profmed contacts her and informs her that they will only pay partially her pay in is R9600.</p> <p>Profmed is for professionals with very specific education criteria. So why don't you want to pay for an MRI? People don't have R10 000 lying around that's why they pay medical aids.</p>
