When are the medical aid going to wake up

<p>I need to have a procedure. My medical specialist suggested that I have it done endoscopically on both hands and yet the medical aid declines it. Instead of having a procedure approved for a 1 days in hospital, much shorter theatre time while both hands can be operated on (and I can return to work 2-3 days later). Profmed is prepared rather to pay for 2 hospitals stays for each hand, 2 X theatre times, 2 X the specialist cost + 2 X the anaethetist bills and on top of that more than one day in hospital (and at least 6 weeks off work for each hand)</p> <p>When are our medical aid going to wake up, but then they do not mind because all they do is to push our premium up and pay the doctors less</p>
