*********/Unprofessional Prctice

I would like to express my extreme dissatisfaction with Profmed Medical Aid Scheme. On the 15th November 2021, I have requested termination of my membership effective from 31/12/2021 and all was agreed and I was also sent a Certificate15th November 2021, however, to my surprise I have learned that the institution that I thought and regarded as highly professional has decided to do otherwise. On 4th January 2022, I received my Salary Advice from work and I have learned that Profmed has deducted a monthly contribution of R5,569.00 from my payslip regardless of my membership (***7) being terminated effective from 31/12/2021.

I have subsequently on 5th January 2022, notified Profmed of this and requested Profmed to do whatever it takes to facilitate the reversal of this amount as it is earmarked as I will need to pay my new medical aid scheme with a cash deposit so that I remain covered for the month of January 2022. However, to date, my e-mail requesting rectification of this transaction is still being ignored by Profmed.

I therefore would like to request Profmed to URGENTLY attend to my matter before I go to other platforms which may not be good for the institution of this caliber.

Kind regards Stanley
