Twelve months on covered chronic medication everytime an admin excuse not to pay out

<p>Come to the realisation that is is just less effort to pay ourselves than try and claim from Profmed. Admin personnel seems to use pity rules not to payout. What is the point of medical insurance then?</p> <p> </p> <p>Examples.</p> <p>Sent for treatment 3 months before age at which treatment covered. No sorry only covered in 3 months time. (Shall we go again just to get our moneys worth now? No sorry that is waste of both our time and money).</p> <p> </p> <p>Spend 3 months to and fro with Profmed to decide what medication they cover and do not cover.</p> <p> </p> <p>Bought 1 month medication with short scrip. No sorry we need the long scrip.</p> <p> </p> <p>Bought 6 months worth of medication with long scrip to save on the hassle with dealing with them. No sorry if you buy 6 months you need pre authorisation.</p> <p> </p> <p>So 12 months down the line they are still not paying for treatment they agree they do cover. Funny way of showing that.</p>
