Profmed has lost the plot!

We have been members of Profmed Medical Scheme since 1995 and all three our children were members of Profmed since their birth. My eldest son had one subject left to complete on-line for his B Com degree in 2023, and decided to work on a farm in the USA for most of this year while completing his degree. Profmed advised us that he can merely take a "sabbatical" from Profmed for the 10 months in the USA, and re-join when he returns to SA. From before he returned to SA last week, we battled to get him re-admitted (as agreed) as a member of our scheme - and until now no-one showed any form of appreciation for the unique circumstances in this matter. After more than a week of agonising hence and forth with Profmed , we phoned Discovery Health and after only 20 minutes my son was covered. Kudus for Ryan of Discovery Health. The rest of our family will follow!
