Impossible claim approval via Verirad

I have a serious complain about the service received from Profmed. On 2023/04/28 I was admitted to medi-clinic Tzaneen and a MRI scan was required. This was at 23:00 in the evening and we were required to pay R 4500.00 cash immediately, which we did. But then the Profmed rejected the rest of the claim. After months of correspondence, Eventually on the 16th October 2023 the Verirad department of Profmed gave instruction for the claim to be paid. But on 17 January 2024 I received a letter from an attorney to collect payment from me. Not once in this whole process did Profmed speak to me. My broker and I had to try and contact the verirad department of profmed, but it is impossible as they never answer a phone or correspondence. I am very disappointed and will probably move to another medical aid.
