Concerned and dissappointed

I am a Doctor and am concerned at what this medical aid is doing to its members. I recently had a patient with a legitimate need for a theatre procedure that this medical aid just refused to authorise. I wrote two letters of motivation explaining the situation and did not even receive a response. The procedure was just declined. I happen to be a member of this medical aid. I certainly will be changing asap. They claim to be a high end service dealing with professionals only. If this is the way they treat professionals then I advise a serious relook into investing/insuring with these Profmed and by association PPS.
