Avoid this provider, ********** service

I am a CA SA, who opted to take cover with Profmed as they are supposed to be for professionals. This was the worst decision I could have made. I was in hospital last September for a gut issue, it has been six months now and Profmed still has not finalised payment with Netcare. Granted Netcare is even more pathetic when it comes to admin, but six month?! I have already been issued final notice for payment from Netcare, after which they will hand me over to debt collector, and when I explain this to Profmed, they keep saying they are dealing with it. But six months? I have spent so much time on calls and emails with Profmed to try to get it sorted, to no avail. For a benefit plan aimed at professionals, I have spent more time dealing with this admin that has taken me away from my work. I intend to move medical aids as soon as this is sorted out - I may be forced to settle the bill myself at this point.

I urge professionals to look elsewhere for cover, this provider will cause you more stress than give you peace of mind.
