unreasonible

<p>Mrs Apffelstaedt refused to accept payment arrangement that i could afford. i was diagnosed with breast cancer and was referred to Prof Apffelstaedt by my GP. practice took a month to provide a quotation for the operation and by then there were only 4 days available before operation date, therefore i execpted the quotation. i obtained authorisasion from m/aid 2 days prior to operation and informed the practice of which codes were approved and i was advised not to worry. Prof still charged the codes that were rejected by m/aid and this resulted to no payment on those codes by m/aid and GAP cover. which resulted in a bigger member's portion. I was willing to pay the account with an affordable amount and Mrs Apffelstaedt refused payment and insisted on a R3000 payment for 3 months and a R9000 (rediculious) payment end of January 2017. when i couldnt commit to her request, she handed my account over for summons and attachment of my goods.</p> <p>please be aware of this practice and i would suggest be wiser than what i was and rather find another breast surgeon at Panorama hospital. there are doctors out there that is not 700% more than medical aid rates. if i had known i would have rather used the doctors at the hospital</p>
