Ran away from Pro Shutters

Very bad experience with Pro Shutters . They operate from Kaya Sands and lease offices in Van Acht door manufactueres. Initialy they seemed very ligit with a good sales person Enox who is friendly and helpfull. But after we paid for 60% for shutters to be manufactured and installed they insisted that all outstanding moneys needs to be paid as per their terms and conditions which were not stated on their quote which was accpeted. On request to see the completed profiles and material for the job after a month od production when they needed to come and instaall they could not show any thing to us. First they claim it was still with the supplier and as there markup is very small they need to get paid all ammounts less 10% which could.be paid after installation. There supplier turned out to be in China and after contact with them it was clear that they also waiting for payments from Pro Shutters before shipping more product to Enox and Muriel in South Africa. They however claim that their supplier is wrong and is getting confuse between orders. But it was clear that the supplier were well aware for whom and what they delivered. The material never arrived as per scheduled installation and the company accounts person put done the phone in your ears In attemps to visit the company in Kaya Sands they were not avaialble. Or even accept to meet with us for an inspection of the products. We agreed that we will pay money into pur Attourney s trust account for the products sontheycan show they have it, which they refused that and then claim the product is not with the Chinese supplier anymore but with another supplier in South Africa for coating.

When in contact with the owner of Pro Shutters it turned out that he is not really calling the shots but his accounts lady Muriel who shouts and put the phone down in your ear indeed is in charge. Be very afraid to do business with them. Be VERY AFRAID. We now instiituted legeal action to get all moneys back or to be placed in a position to have our shutters installed as it should have been if they did not fail to deliver. DO NOT use them !!! As they fail to deliver or even show any products on request after they have 60% of the money already.
