Collapsed Awning and damaged vehicle

One star is being kind.

After having a double carport erected in our complex the entire thing came crashing down, damaging a residents vehicle in the process, only 7 months after installation. When ProShades were contacted they blamed it on the storm, surprise, we experience high winds in Cape Town. The other car ports in the Estate that are over 30 years old are still standing. They refused to take any responsibility for the structure failing, so while a 5 year guarantee is nice on paper don't expect them to actually uphold their side of this.

The Body Corporate then decided to allow them to install another carport, much to the owners disapproval. We have been waiting for over 2 months now for the new structure to be completed. ProShades have missed appointments, come up with every excuse under the sun as to why they haven't completed the job, manufactured incorrect parts which led to further delays and are still unable to provide us with a completion date. In the mean time the residents car sits exposed to the elements, which, at this point, feels safer then having it under one of their structures.

Don't just walk away from this company RUN!! Their service is absolutely terrible and their workmanship even worse!!
