Borehole control box problem

<p>I purchased a bore hole under current protection box from Pro Performance pumps in Middelburg on 8 October 2016 after the sales attendant convinced me that this will be my best option for the best protection, he then explained to me how to install it and before leaving the shop I asked them how long the warranty is valid for and they informed me that it is valid for 6 months. I installed the box, programmed it and it did not protect my borehole as expected, sometimes it will pump a few liters and then switch off and then sometimes it will not switch off at all. I called the persons at Pro Performance pumps and the technician visited my home and verified that my installation is correct, he then tried to program the box and also were not able to get it running correctly, they then ordered another control box for me but the same issues were experienced, again the technician visited my home and again confirmed the connections to be correct but we again were not able to get it to start and stop at the right times to prevent damage to my borehole pump and motor. 2 months down the line with the control box not working and me starting and stopping my pump manually I requested a refund from Pro Performance Pumps as the box is obviously not going to be able to fulfill its intended purpose; they then informed me that I do not have a guarantee as I installed it myself. My problem is thus that I bought a control box on their advice which is not working for some reason, and Pro Performance Pumps do not want to honor their guarantee with me even after they showed me how to install it myself and confirming the guarantee. Yes it is only R 1280 but Pro Performance Pumps in Middelburg has just lost a regular loyal customer.</p>
