INSTANT LAWN *****

I ordered Kikuyu grass from this supplier. Firstly, I had to wait for 3 weeks after placing order because their "machine" was broken. It was rolled up when delivered and my gardener planted it and covered it with soil. When it started peeping through the soil it looked rather different from my other kikuyu, but I was away over the Christmas period for approximately six weeks and only when I returned did I see that this was definitely not kikuyu. It was like tufts of grass and grew upwards and not outwards, with a much co****r blade than kikuyu. I arranged for an expert to come and look and it was confirmed that it definitely wasn't kikuyu. I contacted the supplier and asked him to come and have a look himself. This request was turned down and I was informed that birds must have dropped seeds or other grass must have grown between the kikuyu, both which are nonsense because there is only this strange grass growing over the 50 square metres that was planted. I once again requested the owner to come and have a look before making such suggestions, but after the third request my messages are just being ignored. Apparently I should have noticed if the incorrect grass was delivered and should not have waited so long before complaining. This is not the point! The point is that I trusted that I was getting what I paid for and that I was allowing it settle down to make absolutely sure that the grass was not kikuyu. I have been cheated and **** to and cannot recommend this company. I don't care what lovely grass they have pictures of on their facebook page. What I received was not what I ordered and paid for.
