Refuse to uphold request

I was involved in this scheme, lost money. I stopped being part of this scheme and also informed the company to no longer contact me as I am no longer interested - It took nearly a year with a lot of excuses and threatening with lawyers before they decided to consent and stop the debit order I had. I was informed that I will not be contacted in the future any more - lo and behold every month I am still contacted, every time I state I am not interested and they need to stop phoning me, every time they say yes to no avail. The law of the country of SA states clearly that should a consumer wish to have no further communication then its the company's obligation to ensure that the consumer is removed from their system and no longer harassed. It seems that now I am forced to seek legal advice as to the way forward - and then they claim they are a respectable and reputable company yet they do not adhere to the wishes of the consumer. I warn any person not to deal with this company as once they have taken your money you are in for a long fight and battle to get away from them as they keep on trying to get more and more money from you at your loss.
