They Request Your Credit Profile WIthout Your Consent

I am absolutely shocked.

These people called me claiming that I was being overcharged on my accounts. I informed them that I was not. The consultant then insisted on wanting to discuss my credit accounts. I immediately and explicitly instructed her not to do so, as I had not provided any consent, nor had I provided any information to verify my identity other than my name.

The consultant acknowledged that I had not given consent, yet she continued wanting to discuss my accounts despite my clear instruction not to.

I ended the call, and less than a minute later I received an SMS stating:

"I, [my full name], ID 9210*********3, gave consent to request my credit report on 2026-06-05. Reason: Affordability Assessment. Pro Debt Solutions."

This is completely false. I did not give consent at any point during the call, either verbally or in writing. In fact, I specifically instructed the consultant not to access or discuss my credit information without my consent. I am extremely concerned that my credit report may have been accessed or requested without my authorization.
