Proconstruction SA abandons building site

We contracted Proconstruction SA in November last year for some extensions at our house. Initially we were very impressed with Riaan van de Wath and team and progress was good. After the Christmas holiday break , we noticed that there were issues with the workers not pitching (Riaan's excuse) and progress was very slow. We suspected financial issues as the cause at this point, but still made our final payment on Jan 12 as we thought this might alleviate Riaan's issues and we might just make our deadline of having the building completed by end of Jan.<br> <br> We confronted Riaan about a week later, but his excuse was still that the workers are unreliable and don't pitch for work. Their onsite presence or lack thereof became evident in the next few weeks until they just stopped coming altogether. The list of outstanding work is a page full. I have tried contacting them numerous times with no luck.
