Pathetic service with an element of ***** from Pro admin

A managing agent is supposed to act in the interest of the Body Corporate right? Well, not Pro admin.

1. Our flat owed more than R100 000 municipality rates in December 2018 yet Pro admin paid about R40 000 to EY Steward Attorneys which had not collected a single cent from the levies they were supposed to collect. As a result the municipality cut off the electricity supply to the building. Pro admin then called a bogus electrician to reconnect electricity; but the lift was still without power.

2. The lift was unserviceable since that time until September when the chairman of the Trustees took it upon himself to negotiate with the municipality. This was after the municipality had switched off the electricity for the second time in June, leaving all security lights off.

3. Pro admin has bogus book keeping as some reductions were recorded as payment while no payments had been made.

4. Although Pro admin denied any wrong doing in April 2019 and promised to pay back the money that they had wrongfully debited, there is still no proof of paying back that money.

5. Although a resolution was taken that no payment should be made by Pro admin without approval of the Trustees, Pro admin continues to pay unauthorised invoices.

6. In June 2019 the Trustees agreed to write off over R24 000 with the understanding that the payment would go through in July and the new owner would take ownership from August. The payment only came in September with the new owner taking ownership from October and Pro admin wrote off levies for two additional months without approval.

The above is just a glimpse of the pathetic service of Pro admin as they act to the the detriment of our building.
