I have a huge complaint against ProAdmin, the employees Trisha, Linda and Sonja.
This office that is responsible for my account has always failed me and repeatedly causing me to be liable for things that are not my onus and this needs to come to a stop!
In 2015 when I moved into my flat, I contacted their offices to find out what are the procedures in paying my levies as I am the new owner of the apartment, I was rep**** with a simple “The lady who works with that unit is not available today, but we will leave a message for her”, few days later when I called them again since I did not receive any call back from them I got another excuse of “I didn’t know that that property was sold to someone else, no one had informed us” they then requested that I request my lawyers to send through the transfer documents, which I called the lawyers and they confirmed that the documents were sent through, with proof of when it was sent to their offices, HOWEVER, I still sent it to them again. It then took them several months to activate my account, with every time I called to inquire, I would be told to leave a message because this person was not in or that person was not available and would call me back. Several months later I then receive a notice of outstanding debt including interests and all those extra costs because I had not been paying my levies. I informed them that that is not my problem as I had attempted several times to contact them in this regards and nothing was done about it and I do not accept being liable for the interests incurred because someone on their side did not do their job. I paid up the debt as agreed in the timeframe agreed and the interests were removed as per agreement after I had to remind them that I was not paying a cent more from what was outstanding to them. I was not happy with this arrangement as when I was ready to pay my dues, I was put aside, making it look like I am a bad payer and starting on a very bad foot with the Property Administrators.
Fast forward to now, I am sitting with a bill of R4 700 legal fees that I am liable to pay for yet another issue that is not my problem because their administrator Trisha did not do her job and reply to my email. On 20 February 2018, I came home to a note on my door from the Sherriff’s office to attach assets, a number was left on the note and I called that number to find out what this was about because as far as I know I do not owe anyone anything. The sheriff informed me that I owe R4 600 to ProAdmin and a request to attach assets has been sent to them. I then informed the Sheriff that that is incorrect, and I don’t have any outstanding debts with ProAdmin, but the Sheriff seem to not have time or interest to speak to me and cut me off quickly to say that he’s going into a meeting (at 17:30)and couldn’t talk to me, that I should call the Lawyers offices, which I certainly did the next morning and spoke to Marlize who said that she had my file on her desk and would call me back after talking to ProAdmin because according to the information that she has, I have an outstanding debt of R4600 with them that was handed over to them in August 2017. I then informed Marlize that I had send an email to Trisha in September 2017 when I received a summons in my mail asking for their assistance in what I needed to do to stop whatever action that was being taken as I was not fami**** with the document and further more added that at the end of August I had made a payment of R2000 for a back payment on payments I missed due to me having to pay for my studies in order to graduate in September 2017 but had made a R2000 payment and would continue making R2000 payments until I finish paying the outstanding amount that I owed to them which I don’t think was more than R4000 at that time. Having not received a reply from that email I attempted to contact them with no success as their systems were being changed and when I called to inquire would be told that payments were not reflecting due to their new system that had a malfunction and that they would get back to me as soon as it was sorted. I left this matter as is seeing that it was sorted and continued making payments as agreed until now where I am only outstanding with R600 and have been making the necessary payments as per my commitment in my September email.
On 22 February, the ProAdmin attorneys put a judgement in my name, two days after I spoke to Marlize who had said that she would get back to me, did not do so and still continued to submit my name to ITC with FALSE information that I owe the property administrator when I know that I do not owe them anything over 30days and have been paying diligently as per my arrangement that I put in writing in September 2017.
I have been calling ProAdmin and their attorneys for a few weeks now trying to find out why am I now being told that I have to pay legal fees when I made ProAdmin aware of the document that I had received and asked them why my email wasn’t rep**** even if it was with a simple response saying “Contact the lawyers in this regard” if really they are not allowed to communicate with me once my account has been handed over? On Monday the Accounts person at ProAdmin said that they did not see my email, its not on their system according to their IT department and it’s not their problem, I must pay the attorney fees, I then had to over and over again send them proof of the sent email communication, proof that I stuck to my arrangement and also that as far as this goes, I am not liable for paying legal fees because their system failed them, they couldn’t get back to me as and when I would call their offices because of their delaying system and also their employee Trisha as far as I can see did not do her job, and also what proof do I have that she didn’t delete my email once she realised her mistake and because all other correspondence from me they received.
I have communicated with these people enough about this and I WOULD LIKE TO take it further as I feel that I am being ********** while they try and cover themselves, denying to seeing my email and acting dumb continuously requesting ME to resend them the proof of the email that I sent to Trisha last year September. I did not change systems, they (ProAdmin) and their lawyers (Marlize) admitted to their system reflecting things late because of a new system that they installed, thus this is not my problem that Trisha missed my email and I demand for the legal fees to be removed because I do not owe them anything and am not going to pay their bills because Trisha could not do her job.
