THE most *********, UNPROFESSIONAL, and ILL - MANNERED company I have ever come across!

THE most *********, UNPROFESSIONAL, and ILL - MANNERED company I have ever come across!

The kind of service you can expect from Pro-Active Trucking And Movers: VIOLATION OF CUSTOMER RIGHTS, Late delivery, a DISHONEST and Impolite manager, Outstanding payment on refunds, NO communication from their side after payments, Broken and Damaged furniture (lots of it), dishonest quotations, excuses, and lots of LIES!

Once you make payment (all our payments were made well ahead of time), don't expect any communication from this company regarding pick-up times, delivery, trucks, etc..or any after-service communication.

Our furniture was delivered a day late, and we did not receive any communication from the company...we had to contact them constantly every time to find out what was going on. The staff is impolite and unprofessional. (The Manager, on more than one occasion, raised his voice at me (yelling) and accused me of being dishonest about our damaged furniture). Yes, you read that right.. he was not even interested in what I had to say or no apology for their lack of incompetence and terrible service.. just excuse after excuse and put me on hold numerous times and even HUNG UP on me. They promised us they would pay for our accommodation for the night as we had nowhere to go due to their late delivery. With much hesitation from them and endless dishonesty. Keep in mind 5 pm on a Friday, only then did they decide to accommodate us.

Firstly, on the morning of our scheduled delivery day (18 February 2022) we called to find out when our furniture would be arriving. We got told that our furniture would be delivered in the afternoon, but they could not give us a time. However, they assured us it would be there in the afternoon.

At 3 pm, we called the manager to find out what was going on as there was no sign of the truck. We just got told that the truck was on its way...after waiting another hour, we eventually got the truck driver's number, and he told us at 4 pm on a Friday afternoon that they were 3 hours away from the storage! (So they had not even picked up our furniture yet or were evan in the same city!) The manager had just told us that our furniture would be there soon, but according to the truck driver, it would only be there 5 or 6 hours later. This meant that we needed to wait till 9 pm/10 pm at night for our furniture to arrive?? (Which by the way takes 3 -4 hours for them to unload)

At 5 pm, the manager eventually agreed to put us up for the night after being caught out about being dishonest regarding the delivery time of our furniture. He said he would make the payment immediately for our accommodation. The company is liable to pay for customer expenses if there is a delay in transit... and must be done so within 14 days working days. This is according to their terms and conditions. I must emphasize how management did not have any care or concern regarding his customers at this time.

It's been 3 WEEKS, and I am still waiting for payment for our accommodation! If you do not contact them, you will NEVER hear from them. There is ongoing promises and excuses from the staff at this company. I have queried the promised payment numerous times now and was promised it would be paid last Wednesday (2 March 2022). I'm still waiting. When I have contacted them this week, it's back to square one with the excuses. The manager is hardly available and has not returned one of my calls regarding any of the issues.

That is just the start. OUR FURNITURE, when it eventually arrived, came back in HORRIFIC condition. Broken furniture that was bubbled wrapped. Broken and torn brand new boxes! I have sent evidence and photos to the company (within five working days of delivery, as per their terms and conditions). We have taken out full coverage insurance for the move and were simply told that the insurance doesn't cover it, and now the latest excuse and question I get asked is ' was the items bubbled wrapped by our company?' Yes, some of it was, and other items were covered privately. Regardless of who wrapped the furniture, there was no care given with the handling of furniture and boxes, and nowhere does it state in the terms and conditions agreement that if the goods are not bubble-wrapped by the company, that insurance does not cover. But the manager still continued to tell me that insurance does not cover and could not give me further reasoning or evidence of this. Just another dishonest excuse from the manager. This is ********* and a violation of customer rights.

Also, yes theres more... we paid for a private load, and other people's furniture was in our truck. (Bear in mind, we were quoted a private load and paid for one, so surely, if there were other people's belongings in our truck, that would be an erroneous quotation?) We did not agree to a shared load or receive any sort of communication regarding a shared load. This is one of the reasons why our furniture in the actual truck was packed so terribly and handled with no care. It honestly looked like it had just been thrown and shoved in the truck. They would load heavy tables on fragile boxes...CLEARLY marked FRAGILE...so goods were damaged and broken. No respect or care was given to our belongings. I have photographic evidence.

ALSO..part of the payment includes the cost of the workers. On the day of arrival, there were only two men. There was only one that was actually working (when they collected our goods a few days before.. there were six men). Due to only one worker offloading and carrying our goods, he dropped our furniture and broke it because it was too heavy for him to move by himself. When I explained this to management, I simply got told that insurance does not cover that and that he would have to inquire about the workers. So tell me, what does insurance cover for then? It clearly states that insurance covers hijacking, fire, theft, and ACCIDENTAL. Please bear in mind that we paid for full coverage insurance—also, there was no response back from management regarding the lack of workers.

As I mentioned before, once you have made the payment, this company could not care less about what happens to your furniture and belongings thereafter. BUT PLEASE don't be fooled, before payment they call you several times a day to discuss moving arrangements and are very quick to answer your questions and queries....and VERY quick to send you quotes...BUT after that.. expect NOTHING but terrible service!

I am writing this review hoping that something will be done about this unjust treatment and others will not have to deal with this kind of ******* behavior from the staff at Pro Active Trucking And Movers.
