DOUBLE PAYMENT REFUND NOT MADE SINCE 30 JUNE 2021

Our move to Graaff-Reinet was efficiently carried out by the company. However on the date of delivery, as stipulated in the contract, the balance of the invoice had to be paid immediately. This was done via an immediate EFT payment, minutes after the company had left our home with our furniture. However, unbeknown to me immediate EFT payments take an hour to reflect in bank account of the company so on been told by the agent (Karel) that it was not reflected, I immediately did another EFT payment which would show in their bank account 24 hours later and emailed proof of payment to the agent - Karel. However, the immediate EFT payment then was debited from my bank account later that afternoon and two payments were thus made to the company. Karel assured me that on receipt of proof of my bank account and my identity document, which I emailed to him immediately, a refund would me made to me. This happened on the 30th June 2021. Since then, via WhatsApps, emails, telephone calls and promises and undertakings from the company and resending proof of my bank account and identity document, no refund has been received. Today, 12 October 2021, I tried to ask James, the Manager what the situation was and was spoken to in a manner that cannot be tolerated. I am extremely disappointed in this company, their customer relationship and their attitude. I will not let this matter rest. R5400 means a lot to me and my family. I demand my refund, an apology and interest on my money.
