Unsatisfactory service
Good Day Disappointed and disgusted at the manner in which I was addressed as a paying tenant. X 2 houses to rent on this property. During the month of March a fasting period for all Muslims. To treat me with such disrespect and forcing me out of my home of 5 years. Please take note with regards to the property at 12 shale place, Bombay heights, Pietermaritzburg. New ownership since December 2024. Disrespectful and rude people.Unable to maintain their property and yard. Rental is due by the 1st of every month but they expected it on the 25th, my pay day. Electricity was included in the rental.No repairs are done. Gutters are constantly blocked and with heavy storms the water rises and comes into the house. They refused to clean the gutters to prevent flooding in my home. My rent was paid every month without fail. There was only one incident where I was given notice over a tattoo artist coming over to my house to do my tattoo. They claimed the tattoo artist was there running a business on their property. Which was not true. I preferred the artist to come through as i wanted it done in the comfort of my own home. Due to this I was given notice. They are rude people unable to reason with and they do not address matters in a mature dignified manner. They scream and fight. They ask for the rent before the due date. I gave one month's notice and moved out. As I was no longer prepared to live under these conditions. Please be aware and think properly before you agree to rent this property.
