Private Security Sector Provident Fund Not paying my Claim
In March a week before lockdown, I Physically went to PSSPF Johannesburg offices to process my claim of which it was later (After 3-4 months) discovered that my application was not processed (By me and only when I called). I initiated the digital claim process(Which has been a total nightmare) by sending all the required documents on Monday, 26 October 2020, no confirmation nor communication was sent to me, I then called again on Tuesday, 03 November 2020 and was only informed then that I needed to request another completed form from my previous employer due to the LAST CONTRIBUTION DATE being incorrect and account verification letter, I received the updated form, sent it to PSSPF along with my bank account verification letter. On Thursday, 19 November 2020 I called the PSSFP call center, spoke to Tshepo (who wasn't helpful at all and didn't seem eager to assist), and called again this time speaking with Sibusiso to whom I requested to speak to management because this was now rediculous, He (Sibusiso) assured me that he is escalating the matter to management and later called to confirm that I resend my BANK CONFIRMATION LETTER. Sibusiso called me after receiving my bank letter and confirmed that his manager has authorized that my matter be sorted out as soon as possible and that I should receive my claim between 30 November 2020 - 02 December 2020 and even now I am still waiting. NB: I have done all that was requested from my side and all the delay has been on the PSSFP side with all the errors from the finance department. Please Help. It has been too long and the service provided was and has been appalling.
