Private Property - Property Viewing -No One there
I rep**** to a gumtree add on the 08/06/2015 for a 1 Bedroom apartment, in Royal Carlisle, Milnerton for rent. I got a reply back on the same day from Anoeska van Niekerk saying that there would be a viewing on Wednesday 10th June 2015 at 18:00. I rep**** with my contact information and attendance confirmation as requested. <br> On 10th June at 13:30 I received the directions and a confirmation for the viewing at 18:00. I then went to the place and was there at 17:30. I was not given a unit number for the apartment. At the front gate, was asked for the unit number, told the security I was here to view an apartment and had no unit number. He told me that the unit number was 38 and told me where to park. Not 5 min after I parked did security guy come tell me the agent left and said we must come back next week. I did not believe this as he was not sure and I knew the viewing was only at 18:00. So I decided to wait and I emailed Anoeska, & called her a few times but went straight to voicemail. I waited till 18:30 and no one arrived or let me know anything. I am EXTREMELY UPSET. This is the worst service I have ever experienced. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL, will use them again or recommend them.

Thank you for qualifying that you are indeed referring to an Estate Agent that you engaged with on our website and not a listing you saw on Gumtree.
I do understand that this has been an incredibly frustrating experience for you, in fact I would have been equally upset about an experience of this sort.
Please understand that, although we pride ourselves on having only current active properties for sale and to rent on our website, and work hard at making sure the experience for our Browsers is a good one - we cannot be held accountable for the behaviour of individual property professionals who use our platform to market their stock to an online audience.
My suggestion would be to seek out the Principal for the Estate Agency with whom you had these dealings and ask him/her to provide a perspective on the behaviour of one of his/her Employees, after all, the service you were getting is from them and not strictly speaking from Private Property.
Please continue to hunt for your ideal property using our website. Good luck with your house hunting.
