Private property not so private - agent heaven

Thinking of selling your house privately? Make sure you are aware of what these "private" websites such as Private Property promises you before you sign up and cough up some cold hard cash. 1. Entry level package of which you already pay a hefty sum - this will allow you to list your property...sounds simple and straight forward...think again! The way the website/business model is designed is to list properties who are marked as featured first, the HD, the all the other "plain" entry level listings. In other words if you haven' paid for their premium package, your listing might be part of the bottom 20 which never see the light of day. The call centre doesn't inform you of this "ranking" when you sign up,....if they did I would have given it a pass. In addition the only people that target these websites or seem to have figured out how to navigate them are AGENTS, so the one thing that you trying to avoid becomes the only response on the listing! Even if you state on the ad no agents, these blokes ignore you and call you anyway because surely you must be crazy to not want to pay them 6/7% to sell your property in an already dead market....

Give me strength and a refund! oh wait that isn't possible either!

Completely not worth the money, you have a better chance of putting a board up in front of your home. Regret making use of this business! Private property you will never see me again, complete **** advertising!
