Owner's do not pay deposits back

I used this service to find temporary accommodation while I was staying in Parkhurst December 2020 but the owner (Michele) did not give me my deposit back. It was due to be paid back in early January 2021. She said that I would pay it and I gave her my banking details but she went radio silent on me. She doesn't answer calls and blocked me on Whatsapp. I reached out to one the guys who was staying over and they told me that another tenant was also suing her. I don't understand how Private property can continue to allow this woman to have listing when she is running ********** business. I have contacted private property and I am still waiting for a reply from them.
