Paid a Private Investigator and got nothing

I emailed Private Affairs regarding a person I am looking for, I received an email telling me they will be able to help me and give me all information I required for a fee of R1200.00 by which I needed to pay before they would look into the matter and would give me all the information in one hour. I phoned them on their cellphone number *** that was provided on their website which a lady answered and said that Alice was in a meeting, but I needed to pay the money first before they would investigate.<br> <br> I paid the R1200.00 into there Nedbank account at 11h45 this morning and send the proof of payment. I received an email from them a few minutes later saying they received payment and will look into the matter. <br> <br> It is now 19h58 and I still cant get hold of anyone. I emailed them, phoned them numerous times, whatsapped them (although I can see they are online on whatsapp) they are not responding to anything. I can now only assume this company is a ****.
