I purchased a Toyota Quantum from Pristine Motors in March 2026, financed through ABSA Vehicle Finance.

Within days of taking delivery, I reported mechanical concerns to the dealer. Over the following weeks additional issues became apparent, including braking and drivability concerns. The vehicle has since spent an extended period at Toyota for inspection and repairs.

As the owner of Big Six Tour Safaris, I rely on my vehicles to transport tourists. The downtime has resulted in lost bookings, additional operating costs, and the need to outsource tours to other operators. My son has also lost income because the vehicle has been unavailable.

I am disappointed with the way this matter has been handled and feel that my concerns have not been addressed with the urgency I expected. I am currently pursuing the matter through the appropriate channels and hope that a fair resolution can be reached.
